Health Update on Dom & A Heartfelt Thank You for Your Support

We wanted to share an important update on Dom’s health and express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support. After a recent meeting with the doctors, we’ve learned that Dom faces an uncertain future, and his journey to recovery will be a long one. While we are still awaiting further details on treatment options and a more specific timeline, we remain focused on supporting Dom through the difficult steps ahead.

Your generosity and messages of encouragement have meant the world to Dom and his girls. Every donation, kind word, and prayer shared through this GoFundMe campaign and beyond has made a real difference. The outpouring of love and support for Dom has been truly humbling and heartening. Each contribution—big or small—has helped to provide Dom with the resources he needs for this challenging road, giving us all renewed strength and hope.

Hi everyone,

Ninder and I are reaching out to ask for your help on behalf of our dear friend, Dominique Frappier. Dom has been a long-time Squamish resident and has been a close friend of ours for over 20 years. He is a dedicated single dad to two beautiful daughters, ages 13 and 15. Their mother, Michelle, is also supporting us with this during this incredibly difficult time.

Since September 2nd, Dom has been in hospital, fighting for his life. At this point, we don’t know how long he will be hospitalized, how long his recovery will take, or what his future will look like. The doctors have told us that for now, we must take it day by day.

Dom is a self-employed individual, and does not have a power of attorney in place. This means that, while he is unable to manage his finances or pay his bills, they are quickly piling up. Currently, we need to cover two months of rent (with a third month's rent due on November 15th), as well as essential bills like his phone and hydro. Ninder and I have been doing our best to help manage his finances, but the situation has been extremely challenging, especially since we have no access to his bank account.

Our immediate goal is to raise enough funds to cover Dom’s rent and bills from September to January. The rent alone totals $12,500 for these next few months, and any additional funds will help cover other expenses that are quickly accumulating.

We’re asking for your support to help Dom during this uncertain time, and ensure that his financial affairs and his daughters are taken care of while he focuses on his recovery. Every little bit helps, and we are incredibly grateful for any contribution you can make.
