Mom was diagnosed with osteomyelitis in her foot/leg several months ago and has been doing her best to overcome this infection. A few days ago, she was told her treatment to combat it has failed.

Managing Diabetes can be difficult, but not impossible. A lifestyle change and a solid support group are important in management. She has done her best for more than 30 years. I feel now she is giving up and feeling overwhelmed. She is a proud, hardworking woman and has never asked for anything.
