Hello Family & Friends,

 

As some of you know, my mother Dolores Hernandez suffered a stroke on 5/24/22 which caused hemorrhage in her

brain. She was in ICU for a week and then transported to a Rehab Facility where she currently is. She will be discharged

today 6/9/22 to be in the comfort of her own home with her support puppy Mya and my youngest brother. She is completely paralyzed on her left side of her body from the stroke and is unable to care for herself. She will remain at home in her hospital bed. My mom is eligible for her therapy visits at home but the 24-hour care that she needs will be paid out of pocket by me and my brothers, It is expensive, but at some point she will be eligible for in home support system but not at this time, it could take months. Any donation helps with this expense. Those who know my mom, know she’s a caring and giving woman and it hurts to see her this way. She was a working lady who always wanted to travel, go out and visit family and be out. We are in prayers she overcomes this and at some point, can be mobile again. She was there for our grandparent when they needed a caregiver and I will like to give her the same treatment. Any donations will be solely for the nursing care she needs. Thank you all so much.
