Hi, I’m Dolly Doops. I am an independent artist currently in the midst of finishing my debut EP. I have spent the past year crafting, recording, producing and finalising this project with my collaborator and executive producer Seegz. Some of the songs have been written this year, others I have been holding close to my heart and perfecting since 2022. I am so proud of this body of work and the journey and stories that I am sharing. Exploring subjects of sexuality, acceptance, imperfection, misogyny, growth and pain through musical invention. .

I am currently at university in East London studying Music Production, working as a music tutor and playing gigs to keep myself afloat in London and, crucially, to fund this EP.

How you can help?

This fundraiser is to cover essential things like studio time, mixing, mastering, art work shoots, press photos, music video sets and live promotional gigs. To be equitable and fair, I want to be in a position to pay my team. I have a lot of people helping out with different parts of what it takes to bring an EP together. Some people are pulling favors, others are offering mates-rates. But at the end of the day, everyone deserves to be paid for their hard work and creative input. As I’m currently independent, I don’t have access to funds either from a record label or an industry deal.. Being independent means I pay for everything myself .

Every single person who donates will be credited in the project and, if I raise enough to get vinyls printed, they will be credited within them too. Also, I will be having a free intimate acoustic listening party that you will be personally invited to.

Every bit of support goes a long way, if you are unable to donate, you can just listen to my music today, or watch some of my videos or share them with a friend. Whatever you do, it means the world to me.

As you can see below this goes over the fundraising budget I've set as I'm still aiming to fund a lot myself, your doantions will ease the financial strain and help partially with the costings.
