Dolly os necesita!!

Dolly es una adorable podenca de no más de un año a la que le encanta jugar y disfrutar sin pensar en cual es su estado de salud real. Fue encontrada en el campo. Debido a su abdomen tan inflamado pensaron que estaba embarazada. En cuanto vi su foto supe que necesitaba mucha ayuda ya que estaba en pésimas condiciones. Cuando llegó y la cogí en brazos pude ver y sentir en mi mano como en su corazón algo no iba bien y que no tenía más de un año. Por desgracia nuestros miedos eran ciertos... Dolly no estaba embarazada, tenía un problema cardiaco y la inflamación de su abdomen era por ascitis. En seguida le hicimos un ecocardio y nos dijeron que tiene una cardiopatía congénita múltiple (Estenosis pulmonar severa, estenosis aórtica severa, ductus arterioso persistente con desvío sanguíneo izquierda-derecha y estenosis de la valvula mitral) Aún no entendemos como sigue viva. Sus ganas de vivir y su mejoría con el tratamiento son notables pero esto es solo un parche al problema. Dolly necesita ser intenvenida lo más pronto posible. En el camino nos hemos encontrado con grandes personas y grandes profesionales que se han volcado con su caso. Esta cirugía debe hacerse en Valencia. Lo harían en el Hospital Veterinario de referencia UCV el doctor Domingo Casamian y su gran equipo de cardiología. Nos han hecho un gran descuento pero aún así el presupuesto es de 5000€ aproximadamente.

Puede que sea un poco más, todo dependerá de como vaya la cirugía, quizas tengan que hacerlo en 2 cirugías diferentes. No nos pueden dar garantías pero por su experiencia creen que puede ir bien y darle calidad y tiempo de vida. Dolly es una perrita milagro y se merece que hagamos un milagro por ella y la ayudemos entre todos!

Dolly is an adorable young podenca not more then 1 year old. She loves to play and enjoy her life despite the pain she has she wants to live but she needs our help. She was found in the field. Because of her swollen abdomen, they thought she was pregnant. As soon as I saw her photo, I knew that she needed a lot of help since she was in terrible condition. When she arrived and I took her in my arms I could see and feel in my hand something was wrong with her heart and that she was not more than 1 year old. Unfortunately our fears were true... Dolly was not pregnant, she had a heart problem and the swelling in her abdomen was due to ascites. We immediately performed an echocardio and they told us that she has multiple congenital heart disease (severe pulmonary stenosis, severe aortic stenosis, patent ductus arteriosus with left-right blood diversion and mitral valve stenosis). We still don't understand how she is still alive. Her desire to live and her improvement with treatment are notable but this is just a patch on the problem. Dolly needs to be treated as soon as possible. Along the way we have met great people and great professionals who have dedicated themselves to her case. This surgery must be done in Valencia. Dr. Domingo Casamian and his great cardiology team would do it at the UCV reference Veterinary Hospital. They have given us a great discount but even so the budget is approximately €5000. It may be a little more, it will all depend on how the surgery goes, they may have to do it in 2 different surgeries. They cannot give us guarantees but based on their experience they believe that it can go well and give her quality and life time. Dolly is a miracle dog and she deserves us to do a miracle for her and help her together!
