Dolls like me
Kids learn through play. Having dolls with features common in Down syndrome in preschools across our community can help normalize Down syndrome. It also communicates a powerful message that individuals with Down syndrome are worthy and an important part of their classrooms and community. Kids with Down syndrome are simply kids and giving children access to a doll with features of Down syndrome will help all children realize this. The dolls will mean much more than a toy on a shelf. They will help bring awareness, equity, and acceptance to classrooms across our communities.
On behalf of Cooper and Jimmy we would like to raise enough funds to provide dolls with Down syndrome to preschools in our communities.
