Brought to you by the artists behind Parkin Projects' 5-star Cry Baby, Dollhouse is a new interactive dance theatre experience where public audiences dictate the performance outcome. Sifting through a mess of pre-loved items, clothing and music, this work will delve into sustainability, community and people's relationship to possessions and how they shape our identity. Dollhouse is satirical, outrageous, eccentric and playful. It's an impromptu work where audiences and performers can hold creative agency together.

This event is a non-ticketed, free performance presented in the heart of Perth's Cultural Centre as part of the 2022 Perth FRINGE Festival. This is important to us because it means regardless of financial resources, internet access or knowledge of Festival programming, anybody can view and participate in this performance. Our aim is to make art accessible to a wider audience and to bring contemporary dance to people who might otherwise not experience it.

Whilst this is a free event, we also want to promote sustainable careers for independent artists. This is where your much appreciated support comes in. Dollhouse is a work for community, by community. All financial contributions will go directly to paying the performers and creators of the show as well as event expenditure (hire fees and licenses). We like to consider this platform as virtual busking where the end product is fed back into community involvement.

Dollhouse is presented and performed by the chaosclub duo Kimberley Parkin & Celina Hage, along with our secret weapon, Georgia Van Gils.
