This past year, my beloved sister-in-law, Debbie, was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer with metastasis to the liver.  In addition to caring for her and their thirteen year old son, my brother (her husband), Robert, has been working two jobs trying to keep up with payments for medicines, chemo, home nursing visits, hospitalization, and ambulance fees, as well as all of the normal every day bills including groceries and mortgage.   As a school teacher for a private Christian school, medical insurance has been helpful but many outstanding bills remain.
