Dollars for Doni

Honestly #FuckCancer... Some of you know him as Doni, but some of you may also know him as the stud slinging your favorite drinks behind a bar in either Philadelphia or Jersey on any given night. I know him as my best friend. I also know him as the guy who loses to me in everything, and as my roommate. On April 27th 2022, the same day as his 30th birthday, Doni was diagnosed with Metastatic Testicular Cancer. For those of you who know Doni, you know he is the most generous, loyal, and genuine as a person can be. For those of you who do not know Doni, please trust me when I say he would do anything for you- without hesitation. It is now my time to do something for him. Doni is not one to ask for help, but I will happily do it for him.

As a result of his cancer diagnosis, Doni is set to begin chemotherapy treatments this week and he is scheduled to have surgery in the coming weeks. Due to the timeline of extensive treatments, and the fact that chemotherapy will leave him immunocompromised, doctors have informed Doni that he will not be able to work much, if at all, for at least the next four to five months. While he will have a long road ahead of him, Doni is ready to relentlessly fight this diagnosis. I, too, am ready to fight along with him and I am asking for all of you to please rally with us and do the same. As with most cancer diagnoses, the financial impact has already become significant. Therefore, I am asking for all of you to please consider donating in any way that you possibly can. Every little bit helps. All contributions are greatly appreciated, and they will serve to alleviate the financial burden that unfortunately, but inevitably, has come along with Doni’s diagnosis.
