Dollars for Dina Howard (rescue coordinator)

Dina Howard has been an employee at the Prince Georges for 22 years.  I met her back in 2005 at the old shelter in Forestville.  She's such a great person that we became fast friends.  Dina was friends with all the rescues who pulled dogs, cats and critters from the shelter.  Dina always went above and beyond to help the animals get out to safety.  She'd stay late if a rescue wanted a late pickup or come in on her day off to meet a rescuer.  Without her....well, a lot of animals wouldn't have been saved. 

Now it's our turn to help Dina.  The past few years Dina has been hit hard with one medical issue after another and hasn't worked since June and hasn't had a paycheck since July.  When income stops, bills still pile up.  We want to help Dina get back on her feet again.  She has been the animals' champion for 22 years.  Now we want to return the favor.
