My name is A.J. I’m a husband to my wife Sally—my Sallyboo—and a dad to my 16-year-old daughter, Gracie. I’m also just a regular working guy trying to keep going while dealing with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Writing this fundraiser isn’t easy, but I want to be honest about where I’m at. My disease has made life and work much harder, and I know there may come a day when it takes over even more and I can’t work like I used to. Bills don’t stop. Family needs don’t stop. Life keeps moving, even when your body does not want to cooperate.
So I decided to try something different. I started a public social media experiment called Dollar to Wealth—the idea is simple: can a regular guy build something real from the smallest steps? Can people follow the journey, watch the growth, laugh with me, learn with me, and maybe help my family along the way? I’m doing this for Sally and Gracie. I’m doing it because I want to build a future before my health makes that harder. I’m doing it because I still believe a regular person can start with almost nothing and create something meaningful.
I ride a Harley, and that bike has become part of the story too. To me, it represents freedom, grit, and not giving up. Any donation helps. Every bit of support is part of the experiment and part of the story. The money will go toward helping my family with bills, basic needs, medical-related costs, and giving us a little breathing room while I try to build another path forward.
