The Story
Cade finds his sister's Barbie doll who closely resembles his next door neighbor's girlfriend. Cade develops an unusual bond with his two new "dolls", tying them all together and awakening something inside of him.

The Vision
D0LL PARTZ explores that moment in Queer BIPOC youth when something awakens inside of you. That there is a world out there that you're not yet part of is telling you that you exist. This story intends to affirm identities and their young queer experiences.

Femininity Prospers. This genre-bending film embraces the feminine lens. Sisterhoods form and it is stylistically treated with feminine touches throughout. This film is both soft and rough and a struggle between identifying with masculine and feminine. "Femininity" doesn't belong to one body. The "feminine" is for those who consider themselves as givers, lovers, and fighters.

This film is like if child Chiron from Moonlight (2016) met a doll version of Sindee from Tangerine (2015) who came to life like Eve from Life-Size (2000) with the utmost campness of POSE (2018)

This film is for you if,

TIMELINE & BUDGET:

Filming is set to shoot in July and expected to be fully completed in Nov.
Funding will vary depending on available resources. Our goal is to provide funding for cast&cew, set design, costume design, location, food, and travel.

There are three tiers. The low end priotizes cast, food, basic art needs, and basic post-production. The mid-range adds more support to a full art department, equipment rentals, location access, team&crew compensation. Lastly, the high-end is a fully produced film at the highest quality where everyone gets a slice and more, and a chance for our film to be seen on a larger scale.

Thank you!

This is a passion project to support stories untold. Authenticity is the most integral part of this, every dollar goes to telling the story in the most REALEST way baby.

Note: Passion project will face adversities especially with hurdles in funding. Film could have inequitable compensation for talent and team, lack of distribution, limiting art direction, and possibly postponing the film altogether. Please keep this in mind.
