Dolce's New Knee

Hello our Dear Friends and Dolcey Lovers.
As most of you know, Dolce is Matthews and I's little ray of sunshine. He truly is the greatest blessing an 18 year old girl could have dreamed up and has spent the last 9 years of his life lighting up hearts as my little sidekick! There is no Taylor May with out Dolce! Of course, Matthew has inherited the gift of all that is our "dainty" fur baby and let me tell you, he has no shame in walking around public places with a tiny teddy bear like pooch under his arm. Dolce tends to cast spells on humans :P His love truly is addictive.
As precious as our little guy is, he is nothing short of fearless. Our boy took a heroic leap off of a patio deck that was just far too high for a pup of his size. He refuses to accept that he is a 6 pound Toy Poodle. As far as he is concerned, he is a ferocious Rottweiler, unbreakable and well....big lol. Sigh, Our little dreamer. As a result of his charming denial he is in need of a knee reconstruction surgery. Unfortunately, being in the entertainment industry, our finances have been effected immensely by the Covid-19 Pandemic. After investing over $1000 in our little guy to date we have spent the last month and a half exhausting all other possible treatment options without success. It's heartbreaking to see our boy limping in pain and we of course want to do whatever is necessary to nurture him back to his contagiously energetic and endearing self.
Some of the expenses we are being faced with include the following...
*Emergency room visits *Bloodwork *Radiographs *Hospitalization *Sedation/Medication *Anesthesia *Knee reconstruction including Locking Screws and TPLO Plates *Veterinary fees/Assistant Fees
This leads us to today, it's very difficult to ask for help when it comes to these sort of things but a good friend of ours reminded us of the love many people have for our sweet boy. No matter how much or how little, we are so grateful for any sacrifice made on our little families account and will post updates on Dolcey's road to recovery.
With so much love,
Taylor and Matt Rey
