Last month, Noeme found out that her liver is not working as it should when she suffered inflammations on her leg while touring the United States with her husband Erwin and son Ethan.

Showing symptoms of DVT , she was quickly admitted to Sutter Medical Hospital in Antioch. She was given heparin therapy, was on isolation to rule out TB, and had biopsies of her lungs and liver.  Eventually, she would be transferred to California Pacific Hospital in San Francisco to be seen by liver specialists.

To make a long story short, doctors found that her liver is necrotic and she is now a candidate for a liver transplant.  She is unable to perform strenuous tasks and needs to be on oxygen at all times. Without a healthy liver she is susceptible to many complications. She needs a transplant.



Noeme is a dentist in the Philippines and together with his husband Erwin (who's also a dentist), operates a private dental clinic.  While they live a comfortable life in the Philippines, their livelihood there would not necesarilly cover all the legal, travel, and medical expenses they will incur in the US for all the care needed to keep Noeme alive.

Doctors Noi and Erwin have shown time and time again of their ability to give and make a difference in their community.  They've done countless dental procedures for local school children and their parents as well, sometimes at no cost. Right now they need our support.
