Congratulations to the 2014 MSA U14 Cup champions Bonvital SC U14 Girls, crowned this past Saturday, August 23, 2014. The 2-1 victory over Portage Trail SC was a great team effort that saw all the girls playing at their best for their club and for each other.
The team would like to thank all the parents, family members, and fans who came out to cheer us on. We definitely looked like we had the 12th player behind us from start to finish. Also a big thank you to Coach Rui Menezes for working with our keepers all season, Coach Malcolm for all the support and taking time out of his schedule to work with us on our finishing leading up to the final game, and our team manager Laura Mackenzie for ensuring our team is well organized off the field. It was truly a TEAM that accomplished this goal.
Final preparations on and off the field are already underway for the girls to represent Manitoba in the CSA Sportchek National Club Championships in Charlottetown, PEI in October.
