Last Christmas my very cool and beautiful 22 year old cousin Bella Bradford did not get what she wanted from Santa - instead a cancerous tumor was discovered straddling her jaw. During a 13 hour surgery it was removed but she is now going through the hell of chemo and radiotherapy.

I shaved my head in solidarity earlier this year but still feel so helpless as I carry on enjoying my life in London. I love playing golf and as I walk between the holes I have a lot of time to think and have come up with a plan! While I know it can’t stop Bella’s battle, I’m hoping it will make me feel like I’m doing something and remind Bella she is not alone and can hopefully buy herself a decent Christmas present in December.

On the 26th and 27th of August, I will be lacing up my golf shoes and intend to play 90 holes at the beautiful Hampton court palace golf club. Roughly, 22 hours of walking, 35-40 kms, and 400 golf shots. For those that don’t play golf, professional tournaments are over 4 days where they only play 72 holes.
