Doing our part for wildlife affected by bushfires.

Donation protected
Our team is raising funds for WIRES (NSW WILDLIFE INFORMATION RESCUE AND EDUCATION SERVICE INCORPORATED) by taking part in BeFit Training’s Bushfire Appeal this Saturday 11th January.

WIRES (NSW Wildlife Information Rescue and Education Service) mission is to actively rehabilitate and preserve Australian wildlife and inspire others to do the same. WIRES has over 2500 volunteers and a Rescue Office that operates 365 days a year assisting the community to help native animals in distress. WIRES assists tens of thousands of animals every year and last financial year received over 95,000 requests for rescue assistance.

As a team, this Saturday we will join other teams at BeFit Double Bay to complete:

- 12.3km Row/Ski (there are 12.3 million acres burnt across Australia right now!)
- *200m run after each effort
- *Every 2km our team must complete 30 Dead Ball GTS (Ground to Shoulder)

For our team to enter into BeFit's Bushfire Appeal, we need to raise a minimum of $150. We will attempt to double that.

On top of our fundraising efforts, BeFit will be donating $50/team that enters and their goal is to have at least 70 teams entered across all 4 facilities- raising at the least, an estimated 14,000 dollars (50$/team along with individual team efforts).

This is our chance to get behind a community battling an unprecedented number of fires, causing tragic loss of life and property.

We thank you all in advance for your support.
