Doing it for Dee!
We are so sad our beautiful friend Dee passed away on the 1st of January 2022. As promised we are still doing the walk despite it being cancelled twice due to covid.
Dee wanted so much to thank the incredible people who have helped her on her cancer journey!
We now will be splitting funds raised between The Ogden Centre and Saint Michaels Hospice.
The walk will be in March and we whole heartedly thank you all for your donations this means so much to her family ❤️
She will be missed by so many for being the wonderful beacon of light that she was
We love you Dee ❤️
Dee is a wonderful infectious person with a heart of gold she’s a superb wife and incredible mother of two.
After her initial diagnosis last year Dee had surgery and went through months of treatment. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough and it has spread. Whilst Dee has more treatment at Harrogate hospital we as friends would like to help her give something back to those who are helping her so much though this difficult time.
The Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre are providing Dee with wonderful treatments to help her with her cancer journey.
The Macmillan nurses are of course providing amazing care and support.
Dee has found this amazing centre invaluable and for that reason we are determined to raise much needed funds so that others continue to receive the incredible care and support.
We have decided to challenge ourselves by climbing a few hills in Yorkshire
The Three Yorkshire Peaks are indeed a incredible challenge but nothing in comparison to what Dee and others going through fighting against Cancer!
Please give what you can the donations are very much needed in the current climate to help provide the amazing care to people going through this extremely difficult time. Every penny raised on here will go directly to SROMC.
All our love and wishes
Paula, Laura, Fiona, Jane , Steph, kay, Julie, Jeannie and Dee xxx
