Doing It For Daniel Foundation Xmas Events

During the month of December, Newton Property Management will be holding a number of internal Christmas themed events in support of 'Doing It For Daniel Foundation'.

These events being held are for a cause held close to our hearts here at Newton.

'The Doing It For Daniel Foundation' was set up in memory of my friend Daniel. Daniel tragically passed away on the 30th of November 2020, 7 months after being diagnosed with DIPG in May. DIPG is a rare brain tumor found mainly in children and young people. Unfortunately, after Daniel’s diagnosis, we found out that there was no cure or treatment plan for this specific type of brain tumor.

After Daniel’s passing, his family set up this charity in his name. The set up of the charity stemmed from Daniel himself as he wanted to help other children going through a diagnosis or cancer treatment.

In honour of Daniel’s memory, I am committed to raising funds for childhood brain cancer research and also, to support parents and families dealing with a brain tumour diagnosis in their child. The Doing It For Daniel Foundation, was established in July 2021, and has done incredible work to date by funding special gifts, experiences, days out and even holidays. The charity also now has ‘Daniel’s Beach House’ in Ayr which is available to families to use that have a family member going through treatment, or for families who have lost a child to cancer.
