We have arranged a sponsored walk in memory of our beautiful girl, Becky Winstanley.
This charity is close to our hearts because when Becky unexpectedly fell very ill she was taken to St. James University Hospital in Leeds where they battled night & day to try & save her life.
We lost our beautiful girl on 16th August 2023.
We will always be immensely grateful for not only the care & dignity they gave to Becky but for the support they gave to us as a family. The staff were absolutely amazing & the nurses are a credit to their hospital!
Giving something back to them in Becky's honour is so very important to us.
Throughout Becky's cystic fibrosis journey we have arranged multiple fundraisers for Cystic Fibrosis Trust including Charity walks, family fun days, balloon races and ghost hunts. We would now love to show our appreciation for everything that Leeds hospital has done for us and our family and ensure that they are able to make a difference with other families.
Becky was such an inspiration for everyone around her and she left a mark on everyone's life. Her contagious laugh filled the room and you couldn't leave her presence without a smile on your face. We are planning a fun walk from the Bay Horse in Euxton to Lytham St Annes beach, we estimate this will take us approximately 9 hours, with perhaps a few beer stops en route, as we believe if we didn't we wouldn't be doing this Becky style.
I'm raising money to benefit Leeds Hospitals Charity, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
