Doing Good for Schlecht

Cancer in some way has touched most – if not all – of our lives. Sadly, today we are reaching out to you to ensure you are aware that 5 months ago Eric Schlecht was diagnosed with stage 3 Larynx/Lympnoid cancer and on Monday, August 8th, he began an incredibly rigorous regimen of chemo and radiation for the next 8 weeks.

Eric is currently on medical leave from his job that will soon expire. He’s obviously exploring any and all options the state has to offer but with the severity of his illness he has not been able to work and won’t during treatment. While he fights this battle against cancer, we want to help ensure he doesn’t face financial hardship.

We understand that everyone has a lot going on in their personal lives but anything you can do to help alleviate some of his stress is greatly appreciated - no amount is too little or too much! Because we have your attention….an email or text message would also be appreciated. He is going to have to remain very isolated and any distraction – beyond really bad TV – is welcomed. We have his contact info and are happy to share if you need it (just don’t want to post it here). If you do reach out, his wit and sarcasm is still in great shape so brace yourself for some pithy banter.
