Six months ago, Dusty suffered a massive stroke during a medical procedure that left him with paralysis on his right side and Aphasia, the loss of language. Dusty has continued to make significant progress towards recovery since the stroke through fantastic therapy, but the high costs are no longer covered by insurance. Additionally, intensive camps for recovering language are not covered by insurance and are very expensive.
