Hi everyone. I have decided to take on the challenge of running this year’s Manchester Marathon on April 19th.

Those that know me, know how passionate I am about dogs. My girlfriend and I currently have a rescue dog, Callie, who is my best mate.

There are over 36,000 stray dogs in the UK & over 100,000 sat in rescue centres – with over 7,500 of these located in Manchester.

Many rescue centres are currently at breaking point and are struggling to cope with the rising abandonment rate of dogs. Animal rescues in the UK do not receive any core funding from the government, so rely on public donations and independent fundraising to survive.

I would love to be able to help the incredible work these rescues do, so I’m currently looking for support to hit my target of raising £1500. Any donation will help contribute towards funding veterinary care, food, shelter, and daily care as well as facilitating rehoming.
