Help Us Take Scooby Abroad – We Can’t Leave Him Behind

Hi, my name is Andreina , and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a desperate need for help.

Due to unexpected and heartbreaking immigration decisions, my husband and daughter are no longer allowed to stay in the UK. After exhausting all our options, we’ve made the painful decision to leave the country and move to Madeira, where we can finally be together again as a family.

Right now, I’m living in temporary accommodation provided by Richmond Council. My financial situation is extremely limited, and while I’ve managed to cover the basics for myself, I simply don’t have enough to get our beloved family dog, Scooby, ready for the journey.

Scooby is our loyal, loving Cocker Spaniel — he’s more than a pet. He’s been a source of emotional support through all the chaos, and he means the world to my daughter. Leaving him behind is not something we can even imagine. But getting him abroad means paperwork, vaccinations, travel crates, vet visits, and transport costs — all of which are far more than I can manage right now.

As someone who always tries to handle my problems on my own, asking for help like this is extremely difficult for me. But I’m out of options. I don’t want to abandon our dog — he’s family.
