Hi, my name is Amber and I raise money for our dog sanctuary on Corfu, named Top Dogs.
Top Dogs is a small sanctuary where we house about 15 dogs at the time.
With keeping it small and simple, we make sure every dog gets the attention they need and every dog has something special every day, a walk at the beach, a car ride or spending a few hours in the house.
For sure running free at the property, playtime and socialisations are daily activities of the dogs and we try to see for every dog what they individual need.
All dogs have a history of neglect, abandonment, isolation or abuse and each dog is handling their trauma differently what makes that every dog has to be recover differently.
Top Dogs is all about healing, gaining and recovering, no rushing, no obligations and mostly: learning to be a dog again.
We are a self standing sanctuary and rely on donations and gifts of fellow animal lovers. Even though we are small, the bills are easily piling up, vet bills, food bills, flee and tick treatment, medication, water bill, electricity bill, maintence of the property...
