Dog rescued from hoarding situation in Livermore
Meet Porsche,
This handsome man was recently rescued from an abusive hoarding home here in Livermore and we are hoping to give him a second shot at life. He was picked up by Livermore Animal Control and spent 3 long weeks in the East County Animal Shelter. Due to the abuse and neglect he has endured living in a terrible hoarding situation for his entire life—one where he wasn’t fed on most days— he needs to be professionally evaluated and properly trained so we are able to place him in his forever home. He is very playful and loving, yet anxious and nervous and we are confident that with the proper training and time invested, he would make a wonderful companion for the right family. He is a Bloodhound/Rottweiler and about 3 years old and is currently in a foster home where he is learning what it means to be loved and cared forproperly. This fundraiser is going to help us provide him with the necessary medical attention needed—treatment for his severe double ear infection, neuter fee, vaccinations and a professional board and train. Every dollar donated is greatly appreciated and will go directly towards his care and needs and any leftover funds will be donated to directly to CalPaws K9 Rescue.
