Hey yall, my name is Nick and today I’m unfortunately in the position where I need to reach out for help. I’ve had my two pups, Stella and Gus, since early 2019 and they’re brother and sister from same litter. I moved to Austin last September after my pops passed away in CA, decided my two dogs and I would try it out here. Work has been slower than anticipated…aside from rent and utilities, I’m literally scraping pennies and don’t waste money on drinking or smoking etc. Anyways, Gus has an old issue from a couple years ago which is the swelling of his prostate and it can definitely end up being fatal if I don’t take care of it. Looked at low-income options but even there he needs to get imaging and then bloodwork, followed by best case scenario the medication to be sent home. Last time this happened it was in CA a few years ago and was over a couple of grand. Super embarrassing to even put this on here, but if any dog lovers out there have the ability to help…anything and everything helps me get to the goal of getting him in ASAP to get him back healthy. He’s such a good boy and never complains or cries about anything, can’t stand not being able to just bring him in right away like I would if I was better off monetarily.
