My Labrador, Rottweiler, McNab mix dog is having massive kidney stone issues that are completely blocking his urethra and we're being told surgery is the only option to help him. Recent life events have eaten into our savings and we simply can't afford the expensive emergency surgery. If we can't get the surgery done, the only option is to have him put down, but kidney stones shouldn't be a death sentence. Any help that folks are willing to give would be greatly appreciated! I'm actually out in the Pacific Ocean for work and can't even be there to say goodbye if it were to come to that. My husband is having to try to handle the situation on his own.
