Dog Attack Surgery Cost for Retta

Hi, My name is Kieran and I’m managing this fundraiser for Nigel- we are starting this GoFundMe because unfortunately on July 1st- Nigel’s beloved pup, Loretta Lynn (Retta) was attacked severely by another dog that was not on a leash.

 

Retta has been in Nigel’s family since she was 1 years old, rescued after being born and surviving the Moore 2013 tornado. (she’s a tough gal!) She is now 9 years old, emotionally support certified and just a sweet, goofy, bubbly little pup.

 

We are trying to contact the other dog owner, but there’s a slim chance of them helping with the bill at all. If they do cover costs, we will shut down this GoFundMe page.

 

Because of her lacerations, she needs emergency surgery and with all of her wound care- the cost is going to be upwards of $5,000. We usually don’t ask this, but this is such a traumatizing experience and extra cost - and we are asking for anything you can donate at all.
