"Does a Giraffe Ever Feel Small?"

Welcome to our GoFundMe campain, we are Madeleine Dodge and Olivia Wischmeyer! As incoming seniors in high school, we are always looking for ways to broaden our experiences through each of our passions. As a writer and an artist, together we have found a means to see our ideas and images come into fruition together. Both passionate about education for all and acceptance worldwide, we came up with the idea for a picture book that would emobody these values. Does a Giraffe Ever Feel Small is a children’s book about the animals of the African savannah and the qualities that make them so special. Through endearing rhymes and charming illustrations, we hope to covey a lesson of self-love to all children . Your generous donations will help us to fund the development and production of the book with a self-publishing company, ensuring we are able to sell hard-copy versions to local businesses. All proceeds made after selling our children’s book  will go directly to local and international organizations that provide literacy programs and reading materials to children in need. By creating this project, we hope to use our skill sets to bring education and empowerment to the future change-makers of our world.
