Grafton High: Hippotherapy

Donation protected
Help us to raise the money needed for the severely disabled special needs class of Grafton High School to attend a 6 week Horse riding therapy course in Williamsburg.  Technically known as Hippotherapy, horse riding provides muscle stimulation and strengthening by a similar gait and movement that people make while walking.  The swaying side to side builds core muscles that can sometimes help wheelchair bound people gain the core strength needed to maintain an upright position and possibly learn to walk.

This Grafton class also does water therapy at the local YMCA which has been amazing for my daughter but the bus transportation to Williamsburg and back for this many wheelchairs would be expensive and will need to be funded before the classes can be approved.

Please consider donating, even just a few dollars because it all adds up.  Help us get these great kids up and active.
