Dodger's Emergency Eye Surgery

Hello Fren! Dodger here. I'm not feeling too good these days. I just had emergency surgery on my eye! I gots a big scratch on it while my hoomans were away. The dog doctor said I had to get a graft or I'd probably lose the eye! Oh noes! My hoomans aren't feeling too good these days either. They had a big move from Tennessee to Chicago, which I hear is espensive. Then, my mom got laid off from her job. More oh noes! Then, my dad had car trouble, and couldn't work for a week. Then, I bonked my eye and had to have espensive surgery! I don't know what espensive means, but it sounds like no fun. Jeepers, it's ruff to be a hooman sometimes. Anyways, they got part of my surgery paid off, but because of the no work and all the espensive, they could sure use some help covering the rest. Thank yous! Now can I have a treat?

Hello Fren! Ben and Katie here. Like Dodger said, he had to have an emergency conjunctival graft after what has already been a financially and emotionally draining few months. Yeesh. We realize that money is tight for everyone these days, and we totally understand if you're not in a position to help out. But we thought we'd put this out there just in case. We both have better financial prospects on the horizon and are working as hard as we can to make them pan out. But emergencies don't care if you're currently equipped to handle them or not. They just happen, even when the timing is terrible. We really can use all the help we can get. Anything is so very appreciated.
