Hi, I'm Dorofeya Sysoeva, a Christian filmmaker. I'm making a documentary: "Orthodoxy on the Edge of the World" about the Orthodox Church on the islands of Alaska. This documentary will focus on the history of the Orthodox Church in Alaska, and the Orthodox Aleut community in a present day. Documentary will explore the influence of Saint Innocent and Herman of Alaska on the indigenous communities.

In this day and age it's more than ever important to produce the Christian content. My father, Daniel Sysoev, was a missionary whose goal was to spread the words of God to all the corners of the world. My mission is to remind people about how big our Church is; it is not locked inside borders or nations.

Most of the fundraising is going to go on the travel expenses.
