Documentary on Actor Woody Strode

Woody Strode appeared in over 50 films ranging from the 1940s - 1990s but never got the recognition he deserved.
He integrated the National Football League with Los Angeles Rams teammate Kenny Washington and also had a career as a professional wrestler.
I want to bring this man's legacy to light by showing his story on screen.

The documentary will be short form and will include archival footage & images, interviews, and footage shot by myself and a small crew.
This project will benefit all people with a love for film & sports history, as Strode's life and legacy are extremely important to how we view sports and films today.
This film will also benefit those who are interested in the stories that do not get the attention or recognition they deserve.

The funds generously donated will be used to get clearance to use copyright material, additional research materials needed, gear rentals for interviews & other footage needed, and distribution fees.
The project is still in the stages of pre-production, so the projected completion date will be around December 2017. However, it is never too early to help with donations!
