Never Too Late is a poetic, heartwarming documentary about Nelly Vargas, a 75-year-old Costa Rican grandmother who has spent her whole life caring for others—and is now finally fulfilling her lifelong dream of seeing the Grand Canyon. I met Nelly while studying abroad in 2019, and we formed a deep bond that changed both our lives. With a tiny crew, one camera, and a lot of heart, we’re road-tripping across the U.S. to capture her story—a journey filled with laughter, healing, and even a cardboard cutout of Henry Cavill. Your donation helps cover travel, equipment, post-production, and distribution. This isn’t just a film—it’s a reminder that it’s never too late to dream. Every dollar brings us closer to making her dream (and this story) come true.
