Hello, my name is Daniela.

I’m now in the final stage of completing my Ph.D. My dissertation explores Black American parenting and how we prepare our young adults for success—a passion rooted in my own life and dedicated to uplifting my community.

This degree is bigger than me. It’s about inspiring my children, representing Black voices in academia, and paving the way for future scholars.
