Doctor visits and Cancer Treatment

August 2024 update. Back in February Shay had her tubes and ovaries removed due to cancer spreading and she's been on chemo since! She is doing her 25th cycle of her second round of chemo and we now have everything together for MD Anderson and just awaiting the appointment day and time then we'll be in Houston for 3-5 days minimum and then may be traveling back and forth so we're not sure how that's gonna play out yet but we will keep everyone updated as much as possible, thanks everyone for everything, we love all of you!!!!!

**update** Shay was in remission for only 6 weeks, In that six weeks she's had a growth on her ovaries appear out of nowhere and is 13cm by 8.5cm or about the size of a grapefruit. Also two more cancerous spots on tissue around colon. We're being referred out to Baylor in Dallas for the ovaries issue. *End update* Hi, my name is David Roberts and back in April my daughter Shayla was diagnosed with Stage 3b Colon cancer, that was a really hard thing to deal with but we were working through it, and then on June 15th I was diagnosed with Stage 3c Colon cancer. I really dont like asking people for help but here we are! Shay has 9 more treatments to go through and I start my chemo in 4 weeks. We really need help with medical bills and just everyday living as after surgery I've not been able to go back to work just yet until I'm healed up! Any funds raised will be used to pay for doctor visits and treatment visits as my insurance doesn't cover 100% of these visits. Thanks to anyone who is able to help, we appreciate everything!!!
