Dr Tom Crabtree works at the Royal Derby Hospital. With the COVID-19 outbreak, he stopped undertaking his clinical research to help out on the front line to treat patients suffering from Coronavirus. Now he needs out help.
On Tuesday the 21st April, a fire broke out at the Springfield Mill where he lives. The impact has been devastating not only in terms of lost possessions but also having lost his home.
During lockdown it will be near impossible to replace many essential items to return to a normal life. Can you help? If you can spare some cash or even are able to offer some household items from furniture to creature comforts (whether pre-loved or donated from a business), this would be greatly appreciated.
Please can we support this key-worker who has put his normal livelihood and life on the line for the public and now has been dealt this terrible blow during a time of national crisis.
