Recently, his health took a turn for the worst, and he has been hospitalized for the last 3 weeks. He was rushed into ER, with a “life threatening” infection. Not knowing he was a diabetic and then later finding out he also has leukemia, caused the infection to escalate very quickly. Both of these diseases work against him and lower his ability to fight off the infection that he has. My dad has had 7 surgeries in 21 days, with several more in the next few weeks and coming months.
This extensive recovery time that doctors anticipate to be at least 12 months, has led us to reach out and ask for your help. For those of you that know my Dad know that his sense of humor, energy and contagious personality has always left a lasting impression on everyone he meets. Taking care of his patients and getting everyone feeling back to normal has always been his number one priority and now it’s our turn to get him back on his feet. Please consider helping the man who for so many years has helped all of us.
For those of you that have expressed wanting to help but don't feel comfortable doing so over the internet, please feel free to send them a check directly to their P.O. Box 371 Wayne, MI 48184
