We met at Guilford College in 2004, at the Ragan-Brown Field House. Emily was an orientation leader and Dock was an incoming freshman, attending orientation.

Though the next several years kept us busy, as students at Guilford; our paths crossed throughout our college careers. Over the next 11 years, we would live lives in separate states, Emily in Florida and Dock in North Carolina; but we stayed in touch, as much as we could.

In 2015 Emily moved to North Carolina, and our love story continued. On December 10th, 2016 we got engaged at the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens in Gastonia, North Carolina. We will be wed on May 27th, 2017, with the ceremony taking place in a quaint little chapel on the campus at Guilford College and reception in the college's community center. We will bring in this next chapter with a small group of close friends and family on the very campus where we met.

As we plan our nuptials and honeymoon, we ask for gifts to be donated to our wedding and honeymoon campaign. We are blessed enough to have a home where our daily needs are met; as a result we ask for help as we fund our Guilford College Wedding. As the wedding plans continue to come together, we will take time to also focus in on a honeymoon plan/location. Once we do so, we will update the campaign and share plans.

We truly thank you, in advance, for helping us take the next steps in this amazing love story over the next several months. It has been an honor sharing this journey with our friends and family and we are excited to see just what comes next for us.
