John 'Doc' Bart has been an incredible leader to The American Legion Department of California. As Adjutant he spent countless hours (without pay) helping save money, simplifying the website and giving great advice to Posts throughout the state. He has been a great mentor to many. Most of all, he is a Legionnaire, a great friend to many and a great man. Doc is currently in treatment for Squamous Carcinoma, stage 4 cancer of the tongue and neck area. He is currently undergoing radical Chemotherapy with radiation therapy in between. Doc has been working, but is obviously out for medical reasons now and his wife has been taking time off to drive him back and forth to medical appointments. This has become a financial burden and Doc needs our assistance now. Please donate!
