In Loving Memory of Doc John Jamieson
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Lachlan, and I'm fundraising to honour the life and legacy of my beloved father, Doc John Jamieson, who tragically passed away on April 10th, 2025.
My dad was many things to many people — a dedicated animal chiropractor, a passionate whistleblower, a fierce advocate for justice, and to me, simply the most extraordinary father. His loss has left a hole in our hearts that no words can truly describe. We are currently seeking support to help cover the cost of his funeral and associated arrangements, so we can lay him to rest in the way he truly deserves.
A True Pioneer in Animal Care
Doc John — known by many as "K9 Dogman" — spent over four decades helping animals when no one else could. Long before animal chiropractic became a recognized field in Australia, my father was already using his gifted hands and intuitive understanding of animal bodies to relieve pain, restore movement, and bring peace to animals and their families.
From greyhounds and horses to kangaroos and alpacas, John saw each animal as an individual — not a number, not a problem to fix, but a soul deserving of care. He treated thousands of animals across the country, often traveling long distances just to help. In many cases, people turned to him as a last resort when traditional veterinary medicine gave up — and so often, he succeeded where others couldn’t.
His work wasn’t just physical — it was emotional, spiritual, and deeply personal. He had an incredible ability to connect with animals, and he never stopped learning and sharing his knowledge.
⚖️ A Courageous Voice Against Corruption
Alongside his healing work, my father was also known for his fearless commitment to exposing corruption — particularly in the racing industry. He was the CEO and founder of The Corruption Whistle-Blower, where he relentlessly pursued accountability for animal cruelty, misconduct, and government failures. He was the driving force behind the Phoenix Taskforce, a movement aimed at uncovering deep-rooted exploitation and injustice.
John was never afraid to speak truth to power, no matter how much it cost him. He wrote, researched, exposed, and stood firm, even when he faced backlash, isolation, and danger. He did it for the animals. He did it for what was right.
His legacy in the animal justice space is vast, and his impact has rippled far beyond what many people know. He was, and still is, a warrior for the voiceless.
❤️ Why We're Asking for Help
John's passing was sudden and devastating. Our family is now facing the emotional weight of this loss alongside the financial burden of organizing his farewell. We want to give him the send-off he deserves — a funeral that reflects the incredible man he was, his achievements, and the love he gave so freely.
Your contributions will help cover:
- Funeral and burial expenses
- A memorial to honor his life’s work
- Admin and legal costs related to his passing
- Future efforts to preserve and continue his advocacy legacy
✨ Help Us Celebrate His Life
If Doc John touched your life — if he helped your animal, inspired your activism, stood by you during a tough time, or simply gave you hope — please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser. Every little bit helps, and every voice spreading his story is part of the tribute he deserves.
We are also collecting stories, memories, photos, and videos that celebrate his journey. If you'd like to contribute something personal, please reach out.
Thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting. From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for helping us honour a man who spent his life helping others.
Rest in power, Dad. You were one of a kind.
