Dobson's Family Fund

As a lot of you would know, on Sunday evening, we tragically lost a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend Brendan Dobson to a brain aneurysm at the age of 39

Brendan touched so many lives in so many ways, everyone will always remember the gentle, kind soul he was and will always be. He touched all of our lives in different ways and his presence will remain in all of us. The loss we feel will be with us everyday as we seek to carry on.

Those who knew Brendan know that he dedicated his life to the happiness and well-being of his beautiful wife Thea and their lovable four-year-old son Benny. Brendan was willing to go above and beyond every day to make Thea smile or see Benny laugh. His life was lived for his family above all else.

Thea works in aged care but has spent the last few months in Cambodia caring for her sick father. This tragically meant that for most of the last month's of Brendan life they had to be apart but it also meant that Thea has limited financial support in accessing leave from her workplace.

Thea, humble as she is, did not want to ask anyone for anything. However, all of Brendan's family has been touched by the offers of support and people have asked what else they can do. There is no obligation to contribute but this fundraiser will allow the costs of Brendan's funeral to be covered, as well as allow Thea and Benny more financial security as they enter into the hardest phase of their life.

All money received will be transferred directly to Thea from me, Tim Dobson (Brendan's younger brother)

Any contributions small or large would be greatly appreciated or as Brendan may have said it would be "heaps good" if you could donate.

Remember life is short and to always let your loved ones know that you do love them.
