Around 3am Tuesday, July 5th, Tom Dobbins woke to the sound of crackling fire above him in the attic. The Dobbins family: Tom and Jeanne, their daughter Amanda, and their grandchildren Isaiah (4yr) & Asher (1yr), were all asleep on the second floor at the time of the incident. During the storm that night, the house was struck by lightning causing the house to catch fire. While devastated by the fire, the family members all made it out safely. Tom and Jeanne’s home is still standing but left in ruins from fire and water damage. For those who know the Dobbins family, they know Tom and Jeanne are the most hardworking and loving people. We appreciate all prayers and any donations to help the family with any additional expenses.
