Hi, my name is Nicolette and I am fundraising for my Papa, Doady Fornasari.

My father was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer on Thanksgiving of 2020.

Hearing this brought a huge shock and fear to our entire family, I remember Papa saying "Of all Cancers why this one?"

We started Chemo Treatments and went through all the protocols and procedures, he's been hospitalized multiple times including the last two Christmases.

9 months later he became eligible for a Full Whipple Surgery which only 20% of people become eligible for.

We thought this was it, my dad is going to have his life back.

After removing the Pancreas, Spleen and rerouting a main and vital Portal Vein that they came within 2cm of saying we can't do this surgery and there is nothing more we can do, they saved papa's life on the operating table.

Coming out of surgery he is now Diabetic and gets insulin shots 3x a day.

Out of 50 lymph nodes, 3 were still active with Cancer, so went in for more Chemo.

After about 2-3 months Papa became worse and we did another CT/PET Scan to see what was happening, his pain at this point became unbearable with being up all night and losing strength, appetite and his sanity.

We then discovered that the cancer had speard to the Liver, and about 6 months ago they gave Papa only 3 months to live, he's beat every odd so far, but here we are now, battling Liver Cancer.

Papa is off Chemo after 2 years and we have sought out a more natural approach and using Treatments such as OZone Therapy and other vitamins, countless injections and supplements to get Papas Liver working again and help his pain subside.

I never in a million years thought I'd be making a GoFundMe just like I never thought our family would be going through the most painful time in our lives watching and being there as my father's health has declined and worst of all the agonizing pain he is constantly in.

But here I am asking for help, something I don't ever do, something I give to everyone else and stand strong on my own two feet.

Papa's new therapy treatments are not covered by his insurance or any insurance for that matter, we just went to our first treatment today and I have realized we are going to need a lot of help here.

Any donation amount we will be grateful for, and it will help keep my Papa here and by the grace of God, potentially heal him.

I do believe in miracles and faith, I say this with every ounce of my being miracles do happen and I pray for it every single day.
