In just a few seconds, my life was turned upside down in Dublin

In July in 2025, I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident while working as a delivery driver in Dublin, where I live and study.

I was rushed by ambulance to the hospital with a fractured pelvis, a broken finger, and a cracked cheekbone. I’ve been hospitalised ever since, waiting for major hip surgery.

After the surgery, doctors have made it clear:

I won’t be able to put my foot on the ground for at least 8 months,

and I’ll need around 24 months before I can work again.

I live alone. I work hard every day to pay rent, school fees, food, and support my family back in Brazil. Now, I’m completely immobilised, with no income, and fully dependent on hospital care.

This fundraiser is my way of reaching out — to stay afloat, recover with dignity, and focus on healing.
