Oscar Alvarez was born on December 29, 1985. He was born and raised in the Boogie Down Bronx. He was the only child.
Oscar was a very hard-working person who instilled a work ethic in his family and friends. He was ambitious for his children and was to them, and to all whose lives he touched, a great motivator. He was determined to make sure that his children would be successful in life and be prepared to make whatever sacrifice was necessary to help them achieve their goals.
Oscar was a fantastic person. He enamored everyone he was around. A lot of people loved him. He loved and lived for his daughters. He would give anyone his last penny if he knew they needed it. Oscar was always laughing and smiling. His smile was so infectious. He could take an unhappy and challenging situation and make it better. Oscar was one of a kind man.
Oscar entered Eternal Rest on April 1, 2020, after battling COVID-19, and his heart just stopped. Oscar is survived by his two daughters.
Thank you to those that have donated already, our goal is to reach 12,000 to bury and support his children during this hard time.
We Will Forever Love Oscar.
Lovingly submitted,
