Michael Flowers was a freshman at Franklin Pierce University. Unexpectedly on November 7th, 2018 he was found unresponsive in his dorm room.
We as a community here at FPU feel saddened at this tragedy, but most importantly we feel for Michaels family and his friends. Everyone knows and understands how hard it can be for a family to afford the financial and emotional cost of losing a child. Charles Kirby, roommate and friend of Michael Flowers, wanted to do something special for his friend’s family. According to Charles, “He was just a nice genuine person, someone who never made fun of anyone to make himself feel better he was just an all around good kid and was kind to everyone he came across and met.” While Charles and many other friends of Michael’s are saddened by their sudden loss of someone so special they ask that we consider the greatest loss that his family has endured.
We ask that you please spare a few dollars, we are not asking for much, to help Michael’s family get through this time as much as we can. We want to show his family the love and support of our community and those all around us. We ask that you keep Michael, his family, and his friends in your prayers. Rest in the sweetest peace Michael. God bless.
