Do it for Gus

Gus is a 4 1/2 year old black lab-mix that we rescued 4 years ago from the Humane Society in Lincoln, NE. He has been my hunting partner, hiking buddy, and best friend for those four years.
Yesterday, on 4/4/20, we awoke to find his nose bleeding, with blood all over the house. We tried for a couple hours to stop the bleeding before finally taking him to Silverthorne Veterinary Hospital where we soon found out that the bleeding WOULDN’T STOP  because Gus’ platelet count was bottomed out. The clinic didn’t have what Gus needed, so we rushed him straight down the mountain to Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Denver where he is currently in the ICU receiving a Plasma Transfusion.

We don’t know what the cost will be past the deposit we’ve already given the hospital but we DO know that we want our buddy back home where he belongs. 

With what our country is going through right now I don't expect anyone to be able to give much right now. We are hoping to raise some of the deposit in case Gus needs more treatment than anticipated. I just don’t want to let him go! It’s hard to ask for money, but if you have a few bucks for Gus please consider it.
