Hello Family and Friends. Many of you may know by now that Brayden Maes son of Nate and Rolanda Maes, was recently diagnosed with MAS (Macrophage Activation Syndrome https://www.aboutkidshealth.ca/Article?contentid=2310&language=English )
This condition is quite rare, and is in the early stages of research; therefore the testing, diagnosis, and treatment are wide-ranging, and costly.
This diagnoses was brought about when Brayden was rushed to Children's Emergency Room on 2.1.19. Brayden would be hospitalized until 2.12.19, being released with a medication that has to be administratored by a shot daily. With the amount of treatments, visits to the doctors, hospital stay, and medication the bills will only add up.
Let's pull together for our friends and family and show them the community of loved ones behind them.
The Maes family is thankful for all of the love and support they are receiving during this difficult time, and are truly humbled.
